Peter DL6NL kindly sent me a crystal for 7000kHz so that I could try to put the beacon on the favoured 40m QRSS'ers frequency, 7,000,850 +/- 50Hz.

The following reports are in reverse chronological order (most recent first):

31-Jan-08: 7,000,850 10mW

Appearing with Peter DL6NL, captured by John GM0RZY, 09:06
Unstable frequency, captured by John GM0RZY, 12:43
Fading in and out with Peter DL6NL, captured by Peter PA1SDB at 14:05

29-Jan-08: 7,000,850 10mW

John GM0RZY, 09:54

27-Jan-08: 7,000,850 10mW

Peter PA1SDB, 10:15

24-Jan-08: 7,000,850 10mW

23-Jan-08: 7,000,850 10mW

Peter PA1SDB, 12:40.
Peter PA1SDB reports he usually only receives me in daylight. 03:40 darkness whisper from G0UPL.

22-Jan-08: 7,000,850 10mW

Best of Peter's today, PA1SDB, 17:30. Usually visible for 2-3 minutes at a time, with fadeouts for 30-50 mins.
Les G3VYZ captures my signal, along with drift at switch on from Peter DL6NL's signal, at 16:08
Moments earlier, Les G3VYZ saw my with Peter DL6NL's sawtooth beacon.

First reception in Italy! Faint traces captured by Giovanni Bassoli IZ1JKO at 13:52 in JN44JS are seen at the bottom of this picture. Peter DL6NL is at the top.
